Spy x Family follows the story of a master spy codenamed “Twilight,” whose mission is to maintain peace between the countries of Westalis and Ostania. Twilight, known for his unparalleled skill, is tasked with his most challenging assignment yet: infiltrate the prestigious Eden Academy to get close to an Ostanian politician, Donovan Desmond. To accomplish this, Twilight must create the perfect cover—a fake family.

Under the alias “Loid Forger,” Twilight adopts a young orphan named Anya to pose as his daughter, a prospective student for Eden Academy. For a wife, he meets Yor Briar, an aloof office worker who agrees to the sham marriage to avoid suspicion from her peers. Unbeknownst to Loid, Yor leads a double life as “Thorn Princess,” a highly skilled assassin. Meanwhile, Anya harbors a secret of her own—she is an esper with the ability to read minds, a result of mysterious experiments. Delighted by her new parents’ secret identities, Anya is determined to keep their true natures to herself, finding the situation thrilling.

Together, this unconventional trio becomes “The Forgers.” As they navigate their fabricated lives, each member of the family pursues their own hidden agenda. Despite their initial motives for coming together, Loid, Yor, and Anya begin to form real bonds, discovering that being a family means more than just sharing a name—it’s about connection, trust, and love.
