Demon Slayer centers on Tanjirou Kamado, a young boy living with his impoverished family in the mountains. After his father’s death, Tanjirou becomes the primary breadwinner, supporting his family by selling charcoal. One day, after traveling to a nearby village, he’s warned by a stranger about demons that hunt at night. When Tanjirou returns home, he discovers that his entire family has been slaughtered, except for his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon. Filled with despair but determined to save her, Tanjirou embarks on a perilous journey to avenge his family and find a way to cure Nezuko.
