One Piece begins with the execution of Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates, by the World Government. Just before his death, Roger confirms the existence of an extraordinary treasure, known as One Piece, hidden somewhere in the vast ocean called the Grand Line. He declares that anyone who finds the treasure can claim it, igniting the Great Age of Pirates as countless people set sail in search of it.

Twenty-two years later, Monkey D. Luffy, a young and fearless adventurer, embarks on his own quest to find One Piece and become the new King of the Pirates. Armed with a straw hat, a small boat, and his unique ability to stretch his body like rubber, Luffy sets off on a thrilling journey. Along the way, he aims to gather a loyal crew, find a worthy ship, and face the dangers of the Grand Line to claim the ultimate prize on the high seas.
