Tokyo Revengers follows Takemichi Hanagaki, whose life peaked in middle school when he had friends, respect, and a girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana. Twelve years later, he’s a powerless adult living a miserable life. One day, he learns that Hinata and her brother were killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. In a moment of despair, Takemichi is nearly hit by a train but suddenly travels back in time to 12 years ago.

After warning Hinata’s brother in the past, he returns to the present to find the future has changed. Realizing he can alter the past, Takemichi resolves to keep time-traveling to save Hinata from her tragic fate.
