The protagonist, Hodaka, comes to Tokyo from a remote island and struggles with life in the big city. He eventually starts working part-time as an editor for an occult magazine. One day, he meets a girl named Hina, who is known as a “sunshine girl” with the power to control the weather. The two of them start a business using Hina’s ability to bring sunshine to Tokyo, where it has been raining continuously. However, controlling the weather comes with a great cost, and Hina is soon faced with a significant choice that will determine her fate.
